HDCA Awarded Project to Reconstruct Yscloskey Ice House

10.12.09 | HDCA was recently awarded a professional services contract by the St. Bernard Parish Government to design the reconstruction of an ice house in Yscloskey, LA. The existing ice house was significantly damaged by Hurricane Katrina and reconstruction of the facility is vital to the recovery of the commercial fishing industry in the Eastern End of St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana.

The project is expected to cost $1.1 million and will be funded by Community Development Block Grant funds.

HDCA will be responsible for the design, bidding, and construction administration for the project.
